(b) Grade-II (Contract Basis): Candidates with less than three years of post-Ph.D industrial/ research/ teaching experience may be considered for this post. | |
| Associate Professor | (i) Ph.D. with first class or equivalent. (ii) Experience :- (a) The candidate must have at least 6 years of teaching, research, or industrial experience, with at least 3 of those years being at the Assistant Professor level (pay level 12) at institutions like IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, IISERs, or other Institutes of National Importance, or equivalent Indian/foreign institutes, or as a Senior Scientist in renowned national or international research organizations or industries at the time of application. Additionally, the candidate should have proven experience in independent research, which includes supervising Ph.D. students, publishing in respected journals and conferences, holding patents, developing laboratories or courses, or engaging in other recognized professional activities. | |

(ii) Experience :- (a) The candidate must have at least 10 years of teaching, research, or industrial experience, with at least 4 of those years at the level of Associate Professor in institutions such as IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, IISERs, or other Institutes of National Importance, or equivalent Indian/foreign institutes, or as a Senior Scientist in well-regarded national or international research organizations or industries at the time of application. Furthermore, the candidate should have demonstrated leadership in research within a specific area of expertise, including supervising Ph.D. students, having a strong record of publications in respected journals and conferences, holding patents, developing laboratories or courses, or engaging in other recognized professional activities. | |
